Secrets of Bayou Sha

Loosely based on the writer’s on life story growing up as a gay man in rural Louisiana, this serialized digital comic introduces us to a small town steeped in lore, where the air is heavy with history, magic, and oppression. When their older gay mentor mysteriously disappears amid signs of violence, Bobby and Albert—caught at the scene of the crime—must form an unlikely alliance to evade family and the law as to uncover the final fate of their friend. As the mystery deepens, they must rely on themselves, one another, and the power of their intertwined histories to find the answers they seek in unexpected places.
